All public bodies, including local authorities, utility companies, and statutory agencies, have a biodiversity duty under the Natural Environment and Rural Communities (NERC) Act 2006. This workshop will explore what the duty entails and suggests ways that compliance and performance can be assessed. Examples of good practice will be discussed. By the end of the workshop, participants will have compiled a checklist to be able assess their own organisation’s performance.
Cost: £60 IEEM members, £120 non-members.
