Farmland Birds – Can Modern Intensive Farming and Farmland Birds Co-exist?

This workshop will cover the identification of individual bird species, including song, what their round the year food and habitat requirements are and how to meet those needs by using options within current Agri-environment schemes. An outdoor session will look in detail at how to manage existing habitats and create new ones within an intensive farming regime, and discuss problems that may arise, such as weed control.
