Surveying for Bats and Development: The Consultants’ Approach

This workshop is aimed at those who would like to undertake, or advance their expertise in, consultancy for developers with respect to bats. It will include an overview of bat ecology and the law, appropriate survey techniques, the survey effort required, methods of data analysis, how to deal with that missed bat and how to meet the client’s requirements. There will be worked examples explaining why working for developers is good for bats.
