Student Careers Advice
Rooting for a Career in Ecology or Environmental Management and What a Graduate Should Know are careers guidance composed by the British Ecological Society and IEEM. This careers advice, aimed at those at school or university, will help students decide whether a career in ecology or environmental management is really for them. It contains practical advice on the employers, the work and qualifications and qualities needed to get a job combined with career profiles written by people already working in the sector.

This Sources of Survey Information has been compiled as a reference of survey methodologies and habitat classifications. It currently lists the established and generally accepted methodologies for field survey; it is expected to expand as further references are added.
