Yorkshire and The Humber Shadow Section

Yorkshire and Humber is a ecologically diverse region ranging from the unique limestone flora of the Dales, to the magnificent Moors and agricultural heartlands of the Vale of York through to the chalk grasslands of the Wolds, Humber estuary and lowland heath of Thorne and Hatfield Moors, not forgetting the densely populated areas of the South and West in a mosaic with ancient woodland and moors and the opportunities presented by our industrial past. The Section unites members in a common purpose to manage, conserve and enhance this resource.

There are currently 245 members in the Yorkshire and the Humber Shadow Section.
